Carina and Tony’s engagement session at the beautiful Rose Garden in Elizabeth Park, West Hartford, CT was breathtaking! This place holds a special meaning for them, and it’s also close to my heart. They used to live nearby and would stroll through the park daily, making it the perfect backdrop for their shoot.
As we wandered through the vibrant roses and lush greenery, Carina and Tony reminisced about their walks together in the park. It brought back fond memories for me too—when I attended the University of Hartford, I lived just around the corner! Being back in this lovely park was nostalgic, and it made the experience even more special.
Carina and Tony are planning a large Greek Orthodox wedding for October 2025 which honors his faith and family heritage and I can’t tell you how honored I am to be part of this journey with them. We laughed when I jokingly asked if it would be much like the movie, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and they both said "yes!". So many of the same traditions found in the movie will also be observed on the day of their wedding. Their excitement is infectious, and I can already picture the beauty and joy that their wedding day will bring. The rich traditions and heartfelt celebrations [along with her beautiful fall coral and blush color palette] promises to create a magical atmosphere that I can’t wait to capture.
During the session, the chemistry between Carina and Tony was undeniable. Their laughter filled the garden, and the way they looked at each other said it all. We snapped some intimate moments surrounded by blooming roses and golden sunlight, creating timeless images that perfectly reflect their joy and connection.
I’m really looking forward to what the future holds for this wonderful couple. The Rose Garden at Elizabeth Park was the ideal choice for their engagement shoot, and I’m so grateful they met me there. Returning to a place that means so much to both of us made this experience even more memorable. Here’s to Carina and Tony—may your love continue to blossom just like the surrounding gardens around you. Cheers to you both and to 2025!
