Hi! I’m Rebecca Castonguay, a wedding photographer and a former cynic when it came to real love. That all changed when I met my amazing husband on a dating app.
After a few failed relationships and a divorce, I decided to give Bumble a chance—and I’m so glad I did. My husband was nothing like I expected. He was real, honest, and we fell in love quickly.
We ended up getting married during the pandemic in my parents’ backyard, surrounded by our closest loved ones. It was the most perfect day—70 degrees, sunshine, and the kind of fall foliage that makes New England magical. If you’re from here, you know that crisp fall smell in the air.
I couldn’t stop crying happy tears. Maybe it was pregnancy hormones, but mostly it was the feeling that I had finally found my person.
After years of heartbreak and broken promises, I was finally free to love the way I always hoped I could. The cynic became a believer.
Together we’ve built a life we truly love, and my family is my greatest accomplishment. I can tell you from experience—real love exists. And when you find it, hold onto it, make time for each other, and never stop choosing one another.
Because in the end, love really is the greatest lesson life has to offer.
